Biscoff Banana Bread is a deliciously moist and sweet treat that combines the flavors of ripe bananas and Biscoff spread, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Biscoff spread (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in the baking soda and salt until evenly distributed.
- Gradually add the flour to the banana mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the Biscoff spread until swirled throughout the batter. If using, add the chopped walnuts or pecans and mix gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Drizzle a little extra Biscoff spread over the top if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips to the batter.
- Substitute the chopped nuts with dried fruit like raisins or cranberries for added sweetness and texture.
