- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled turkey sausage
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a circle about 1/4 inch thick. Transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Spread the cooked turkey sausage, diced bell peppers, and diced tomatoes evenly over the dough.
- Pour the egg mixture over the toppings, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Drizzle olive oil over the pizza for added flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, then slice and serve.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, replace turkey sausage with sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
