Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box (18.3 oz) brownie mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well blended.
- If desired, fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
- Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops look slightly cracked. Be careful not to overbake.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a minty twist, add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract to the dough.
- Substitute half of the vegetable oil with applesauce for a lighter version.
