Description

A delicious and flavorful grilled chicken recipe marinated in a citrus glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, oregano, paprika, and citrus zests until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, add a teaspoon of smoked paprika to the marinade.
  • To make it a complete meal, serve the grilled chicken with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
