- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Fold in the chopped pistachios, chopped almonds, and raisins.
- Divide the mixture evenly into four jars or containers with lids.
- Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or at least 6 hours) to allow the oats to soften and absorb the flavors.
- Before serving, give the oats a good stir and top with additional nuts or dried fruits if desired.
Notes
- For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and milk, and substitute the sweetened condensed milk with maple syrup or agave nectar.
- Add fresh fruit like mango or berries on top before serving for an extra burst of flavor and nutrition.
