Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle and transfer it to a pizza peel or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a separate bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
- Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and top with fresh arugula and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
- Slice and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
