Description
A refreshing shrimp salad inspired by New York deli flavors, perfect for a light meal or sandwich filling.

- 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, celery, red onion, dill pickles, and fresh dill. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Add the cooked shrimp to the bowl and gently fold them into the mixture until evenly coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the flavors as needed.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the shrimp salad on a bed of lettuce leaves or in a sandwich.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the mixture.
