Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, and sesame oil. Pour this mixture over the beef and broccoli in the skillet.
  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
