A delicious and easy recipe for tuna steaks served with a creamy garlic sauce and a fresh salad.

- 1 pound fresh tuna steaks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 4 cups mixed salad greens (such as spinach, arugula, and romaine)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the tuna steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the tuna steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and feta cheese. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and toss gently to combine.
- Slice the grilled tuna steaks and serve over the salad. Drizzle with creamy garlic sauce before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the creamy garlic sauce.
- Substitute the tuna steaks with salmon or swordfish for a different flavor profile.
