  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  3. Take each chicken tender and coat it in the brown sugar mixture, ensuring it’s evenly covered.
  4. Wrap each coated chicken tender with a slice of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary. Place the bacon-wrapped tenders on the wire rack.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
