Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut four squares of heavy-duty foil, each about 12x12 inches.
  2. Distribute the trimmed asparagus evenly across the center of each foil square. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Place one salmon fillet atop the seasoned asparagus in each foil packet.
  4. Layer 2-3 lemon slices over each salmon fillet.
  5. In a bowl, combine BBQ sauce, melted butter, minced garlic, and smoked paprika. Mix well.
  6. Spoon the glaze generously over the fillets.
  7. Seal the foil edges together tightly to create pouches.
  8. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375-400°F).
  9. Place the foil packets directly on the grill grates and close the lid. Grill for 15-20 minutes.
  10. Remove packets from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before opening.
