Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and regular sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix in the vanilla until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, and optional nuts.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Sprinkle a light pinch of sea salt over each dough ball.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and centers are soft.
