Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cream Butter and Sugar by beating softened unsalted butter until creamy, mixing in granulated sugar, an egg, and vanilla extract.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients by whisking almond flour, baking powder, and salt before adding to wet ingredients.
  3. Chill Dough by shaping into a disc, wrapping in plastic, and refrigerating for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat Oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Roll and Cut Dough on a floured surface to ⅛ inch thickness, and cut shapes with cookie cutters.
  6. Bake Cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
  7. Prepare Icing by whisking powdered sugar and milk to a thick consistency, adding food coloring as desired.
