Preparation
- Soak lasagna noodles in hot water for about 20 minutes.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes.
- Add chopped onion and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- Combine pasta sauce and ricotta cheese in the skillet and heat for 5 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Assembly and Baking
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce mixture in a baking pan.
- Layer three soaked noodles, followed by mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat twice more.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45-55 minutes.
- Remove foil and broil for 2-3 minutes for a golden finish.
- Let the lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
