  • 2 cups brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk whole, skim, or your choice of non-dairy
  • 1/4 cup cherry syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Brew your favorite coffee and set it aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until steaming but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
  3. Once the milk is heated, remove it from the heat and whisk in the cherry syrup and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee into two large mugs, filling them about halfway.
  5. Carefully pour the cherry vanilla milk mixture over the coffee in each mug.
