Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
