Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a sauté pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over low heat. Add 2 sliced onions and 2 minced garlic cloves, stirring gently. Cook for about 15–20 minutes until deeply caramelized and golden brown.
  2. Once the onions are caramelized, remove from heat and allow to cool for about 5–10 minutes, then finely chop.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled chopped onions with 1 cup of non-fat Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and a sprinkle of salt and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning as necessary. Add additional salt, black pepper, or garlic powder if desired.
  5. Transfer the Healthy Onion Dip to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
