Preparation Steps
- Start by soaking 1 cup of fresh, unsalted pistachios in hot water for about 10 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
- Place the soaked pistachios in a food processor along with ½ cup of sugar, ½ cup of whole milk (or almond milk), and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend for 2–3 minutes until creamy.
- Check the consistency and add a tablespoon of milk if too thick, blending until desired smoothness is achieved.
- Add a pinch of salt to enhance flavors and blend once more. Taste and adjust sweetness or salt as needed.
- Transfer the mixture to a clean jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
