Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, sweetened condensed milk, ground cardamom, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined.
  2. Fold in the chopped pistachios, chopped almonds, and raisins, mixing gently to distribute the ingredients evenly.
  3. Divide the mixture into individual jars or containers with lids.
  4. Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 6 hours) to allow the oats to soak and soften.
  5. In the morning, give the oats a good stir and add a splash of milk if you prefer a thinner consistency. Top with additional nuts or fruits if desired before serving.
