Step-by-Step Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook 12 oz of bowtie pasta for 10-12 minutes, reserving ½ cup of pasta water. Drain pasta.
- Slice 1 lb of chicken breast thinly. In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add chicken, seasoning with salt, pepper, and 1 tsp garlic powder. Cook for 6-7 minutes.
- Melt 2 tbsp of butter in the same skillet. Sauté 4 minced garlic cloves. Add ½ cup roasted red peppers. Pour in ¾ cup heavy cream and stir.
- Lower heat, add ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese, and ½ tsp herb blend. Stir until melted and thickened.
- Return chicken and pasta to skillet. Toss everything together. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
- Plate and garnish with parsley or basil, and add optional red pepper flakes or balsamic drizzle.
