Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook 12 oz of bowtie pasta for 10-12 minutes, reserving ½ cup of pasta water. Drain pasta.
  2. Slice 1 lb of chicken breast thinly. In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add chicken, seasoning with salt, pepper, and 1 tsp garlic powder. Cook for 6-7 minutes.
  3. Melt 2 tbsp of butter in the same skillet. Sauté 4 minced garlic cloves. Add ½ cup roasted red peppers. Pour in ¾ cup heavy cream and stir.
  4. Lower heat, add ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese, and ½ tsp herb blend. Stir until melted and thickened.
  5. Return chicken and pasta to skillet. Toss everything together. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
  6. Plate and garnish with parsley or basil, and add optional red pepper flakes or balsamic drizzle.
