Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all your ingredients and prepare mixing bowls.
  2. Cream together 1 cup unsalted butter, ½ cup granulated sugar, and ¾ cup dark brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined and smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and ½ teaspoon baking powder.
