Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with whole wheat flour, one with whisked eggs, and another with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, black pepper, and herbs.
  3. Dredge each chicken cutlet in flour, dip in egg, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated cutlets on the baking sheet, evenly spaced, and bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Add marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese on top of each cutlet, then return to the oven.
  6. Broil for about 2 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
