Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Line 48 mini muffin cups with parchment paper liners.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave 16 oz of milk chocolate in 30-second intervals until completely melted and smooth, about 1.5 to 2 minutes total.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate into a piping bag and pipe a layer into the bottom of each muffin liner, filling about 1/3.
  4. In a stand mixer, beat together 1/4 cup of softened butter and 1/3 cup of light corn syrup until creamy.
  5. Gradually add 2 cups of powdered sugar, 2 tbsp of milk, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, blending until thick.
  6. Transfer 2/3 of the filling into another piping bag and pipe it over the chocolate layer.
  7. Mix remaining filling with orange and yellow gel food coloring, then pipe a dollop of orange filling in the center of each white layer.
  8. Pour melted chocolate over the filling in each cup, ensuring all edges are coated.
  9. Refrigerate the bites for about 30 minutes until fully set.
