- Begin by popping approximately 12 cups of plain popcorn using an air popper or stovetop method. Check for unpopped kernels.
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar, ½ cup of half and half, ¼ cup of light corn syrup, and a pinch of salt. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
