Step-by-Step Instructions
- Prepare the Cake: Bake your choice of vanilla or chocolate cake according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack for about 30-40 minutes.
- Crumble the Cake: Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl, resembling sand, using your fingers or a fork.
- Mix the Ingredients: Gradually add frosting to the cake crumbs, mixing until you reach a dough-like consistency.
- Shape the Trees: Shape the mixture into cone-shaped trees about 2-3 inches high and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Melt the Coating: Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Optionally add coconut oil for a thinner consistency.
- Insert the Sticks: Dip the end of each cake pop stick into the melted candy and insert it into the base of each tree. Freeze again for 10 minutes.
- Dip the Cake Pops: Dip each cake pop into the green candy coating, allowing excess to drip off.
- Decorate with Delight: While the coating is wet, add sprinkles and drizzle with melted white chocolate. Let pops dry completely in a Styrofoam block or marshmallow.

Notes
Chill thoroughly before dipping for an even coating. Use a tall glass for easier dipping and quick decoration while the candy coating is still wet. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for a week.
