Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon green onions chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it is evenly coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes for best flavor.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
