  • 8 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Method
 

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in the fresh spinach and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
