Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Cooked rice or pasta for serving

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Flip the shrimp and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  6. Serve immediately over cooked rice or pasta.
