Step-by-Step Instructions for Ground Lamb with Potatoes
  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  2. Add ground lamb to the skillet and sauté for 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart until browned.
  3. Remove the lamb from the skillet, leaving 2 tbsp of fat, and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add diced onion and bell pepper, cooking for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Dice potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak in salted water for 10 minutes.
  7. Drain potatoes and add them to the skillet. Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden and tender.
  8. Return the cooked ground lamb to the skillet and add seasonings. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot, optionally topping with a fried egg and fresh parsley.
