Ingredients
  

For the Tea Base
  • 2 cups Water For steeping the tea
  • 2 bags Black Tea Or 2 tsp loose leaf tea
For the Mango Infusion
  • 1 cup Ripe Mango Diced; or use frozen mango cubes
  • 2 cups Water To extract mango flavor
  • 2 tbsp Honey Or agave syrup or sugar to taste
To Serve
  • as needed Ice To cool the tea

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and steep the tea bags in a pitcher for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, add 2 cups of water and diced mango. Boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes, mashing occasionally.
  3. Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the brewed tea to remove pulp.
  4. Add honey to taste and stir until dissolved.
  5. Allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
