Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of honey, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce until well combined.
  2. Set your oven to preheat at 400°F (200°C).
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then lightly season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then place the salmon fillets skin-side down.
  5. Sear for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Brush half of the prepared glaze over the top of each fillet, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  7. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  8. For an extra caramelization, switch the oven to broil and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  9. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a minute before serving, garnished with parsley or green onions.
