Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Chop one onion and mince three cloves of garlic. Place them into the Instant Pot and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Carefully place 2-3 chicken breasts on top of the aromatic mixture.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of BBQ sauce and 1/2 cup of chicken broth over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and a pinch of salt over the mixture. Gently mix.
  5. Seal the Instant Pot lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.
  6. Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining steam.
  7. Use two forks to shred the chicken in the pot, mixing with the sauce.
  8. Serve warm on soft buns, over rice, or with coleslaw.
