Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, cooking until it's browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking, then drain excess grease.
- While your meat cools slightly, spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Pour one jar of spaghetti sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker, spreading it evenly across the base.
- Break the spaghetti noodles in half and layer them directly over the sauce in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the browned ground beef over the spaghetti layer, then sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Pour the second jar of spaghetti sauce over the mixture in the slow cooker.
- Set your slow cooker to high and cover it with a lid, cooking for 3 hours.
- After the cooking time, open the lid and gently stir the spaghetti mixture. Add 1 cup of water and continue cooking for an additional 30 to 45 minutes.
- Once the spaghetti is tender, spoon into bowls and garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
