Preparation Steps
- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into bottom of a 9x13-inch dish. Chill for 15-20 minutes.
- Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping and spread over crust.
- Whisk chocolate pudding mix with cold milk for 2-3 minutes until thickened, then spread over cream cheese layer.
- Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding layer, smoothing for presentation.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or crushed cookies. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
