- Begin by pouring 2 cups of filtered water into a saucepan and place it over medium heat. Bring the water to a gentle boil.
- Once the water reaches a boil, stir in the dried lavender flowers. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let the lavender steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the lavender mixture into a pitcher, discarding the lavender flowers.
- While the lavender infusion is still warm, add sugar and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir well until sugar is fully dissolved.
- Pour in the remaining 2 cups of cold filtered water, mixing thoroughly to combine all the flavors.
