  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the maple herb mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
