Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In your skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add a diced onion, sautéing until translucent and soft, about 4-5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add one pound of ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart. Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until browned.
- Pour in the marinara sauce, stirring to combine with the beef mixture. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and chopped fresh parsley. Mix until smooth.
- Layer by spreading a thin layer of beef sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Place lasagna noodles on top, followed by a generous layer of cheese mixture and more beef sauce. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Cover the lasagna with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
- Once baked, remove the lasagna and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
