Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In your skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add a diced onion, sautéing until translucent and soft, about 4-5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add one pound of ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart. Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until browned.
  4. Pour in the marinara sauce, stirring to combine with the beef mixture. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and chopped fresh parsley. Mix until smooth.
  6. Layer by spreading a thin layer of beef sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Place lasagna noodles on top, followed by a generous layer of cheese mixture and more beef sauce. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  7. Cover the lasagna with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Once baked, remove the lasagna and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
