Ingredients

For the Bliss Balls
  • 1 cup Dried Peaches Use soft, pliable dried peaches for the best texture.
  • 1 cup Almond Flour Can be substituted with almond meal.
  • 0.5 cup Desiccated Coconut Ensure it’s unsweetened for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Choose pure for the best taste.
  • 0.25 cup Pure Maple Syrup Honey can be used as a substitute but in smaller amounts due to its sweetness.
  • 1 pinch Coarse Sea Salt A little pinch goes a long way.
  • 1-2 teaspoons Water Adjusts consistency to ensure the mixture holds together when rolled into balls.

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • cookie scoop
  • Shallow bowl
  • parchment paper

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Peach Bliss Balls
  1. In a food processor, combine the dried peaches, almond flour, desiccated coconut, vanilla extract, pure maple syrup, and coarse sea salt. Pulse until well-blended and forms a sticky mass, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Test the mixture by squeezing a small portion; it should hold together. If crumbly, add 1-2 teaspoons of water and pulse again for another 30 seconds.
  3. Pour the extra desiccated coconut into a shallow bowl for rolling the Peach Bliss Balls.
  4. Using a 2-teaspoon cookie scoop or spoon, portion out the mixture and roll into small balls about the size of a tablespoon.
  5. Roll each formed ball in the shallow bowl of desiccated coconut until fully coated.
  6. Refrigerate the Peach Bliss Balls for at least 30 minutes, allowing them to firm up and enhance their flavors.
