  • 1-2 pieces Fresh Ginger Sliced thinly for balanced spiciness.

For Garnishing

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a medium-sized pot over high heat.
  2. Add 1 cup of dried hibiscus petals and 1-2 slices of fresh ginger to the boiling water. Cover and reduce heat, allowing to steep for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Gradually add your preferred sweetener and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. Strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove hibiscus and ginger.
  5. Chill the tea by refrigerating for at least 30 minutes or pouring over ice.
  6. Pour the chilled tea into glasses, garnishing each with lime wheels and fresh mint if desired.
