- Boil 4 cups of water in a medium-sized pot over high heat.
- Add 1 cup of dried hibiscus petals and 1-2 slices of fresh ginger to the boiling water. Cover and reduce heat, allowing to steep for 15-20 minutes.

- Strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove hibiscus and ginger.
