Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp
  • 1 lb Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined fresh or properly thawed frozen shrimp work best
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste, for enhancing flavor
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil can substitute with any vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp Butter unsalted preferred
  • 4 cloves Garlic, finely minced the star of the show
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream can substitute with half-and-half for lighter option
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated avoid pre-grated options for best melting
  • 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning or use favorite mix of Italian herbs
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional, adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice for balancing the richness
For Garnish
  • Chopped Parsley optional, for color and freshness

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season 1 pound of peeled and deveined large shrimp with salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the seasoned shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and keep warm.
  3. Lower the heat to medium and add 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter to the skillet. Once melted, add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 30-45 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in 1/2 cup of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Stir until it simmers and thickens slightly.
  5. Return the shrimp to the skillet, toss in the sauce for 1 minute, and stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Serve hot, garnished with optional parsley.
