Ingredients
  

For the Beef Mixture
  • 1 pound Ground Beef lean beef recommended
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 ounce Taco Seasoning or homemade blend
  • 16 ounces Refried Beans can substitute with black beans
  • 1 whole Lime for juicing
  • ¼ cup Cilantro optional, chopped
For the Creamy Layers
  • 10.5 ounces Cream of Chicken Soup undiluted
  • ¾ cup Sour Cream can substitute with Greek yogurt
For the Assembly
  • 10 large Flour Tortillas cut in half
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Pepper Jack Cheese shredded

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Stir in refried beans and taco seasoning; mix until creamy.
  3. Squeeze lime juice into the mixture and fold in cilantro.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking dish with nonstick spray.
  5. Mix cream of chicken soup and sour cream in a bowl until smooth.
  6. Spread sour cream mixture in the baking dish, layer tortillas and beef mixture, repeat layers, ending with cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-30 minutes until heated through, then cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
