Method

  4. Combine halved tomatoes and minced garlic with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and season.
  5. Transfer the seasoned tomatoes to a baking sheet cut side up.
  6. Roast the tomatoes for 45-60 minutes, checking for caramelization.
  7. Slice the fresh mozzarella into rounds.
  8. Assemble the salad on a serving platter with roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.
  9. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze, season further if desired.
