  • 1 pinch Pepper Freshly cracked.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soak the fresh beef liver in a bowl of milk for about 30 minutes.
  2. Slice the sweet onion into rings or half-moons.
  3. In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the sliced onions to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until soft and golden brown.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute before transferring to a plate.
  6. Season the soaked liver with salt and pepper after patting it dry.
  7. Cook the liver in the same skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Plate the liver and top with the caramelized onions and garnish with herbs.
