Mouthwatering Meatloaf with Mushroom Gravy
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan and shape it. Optionally, spread ketchup on top.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until the internal temperature is 160°F (70°C). Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- For the gravy, sauté mushrooms in melted butter until browned. Sprinkle flour and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the beef broth and bring to a simmer until thickened.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Slice the meatloaf and serve with mushroom gravy over the top.
