Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together 1 cup of butter with 3/4 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add in 2 eggs or a flaxseed meal mixture, along with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  5. Gradually sift the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in 2 cups of chocolate chips into the cookie dough using a spatula.
