  • 1 pound fresh sushi-grade salmon diced
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers rinsed and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Tortilla chips or cucumber slices for serving

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced salmon, avocado, red onion, capers, and dill.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Pour the dressing over the salmon mixture and gently toss until everything is well coated.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled with tortilla chips or cucumber slices.
