- Preheat your mini waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions until medium heat is reached.
- In a mixing bowl, crack open a large egg and whisk vigorously until well combined.
- Add drained tuna to the egg mixture, fold in shredded cheese of your choice, and mix until well incorporated.
- Optionally sprinkle shredded cheese on the waffle maker before adding the mixture.
- Spoon half the tuna mixture onto the center of the waffle maker, close lid, and cook for about 4 minutes.
- Carefully remove the cooked chaffle and repeat with the remaining tuna mixture.
- Allow the chaffles to rest for 1-2 minutes before serving.
