- Chill the Equipment: Place your mixing bowl and whisk attachment in the freezer for about 15–20 minutes.

- Warm the Dulce de Leche: If too thick, warm it in the microwave for about 15–20 seconds, then stir in the vanilla extract and pinch of salt.
- Combine Cream and Dulce de Leche: Fold a third of the whipped cream into the dulce de leche, then gently fold in the rest.
- Chill the Mousse: Spoon the mixture into serving glasses, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours.
