- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix well.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty about ¾-inch thick. Refrigerate while you preheat the grill.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and oil the grates. Grill the burgers for 5-6 minutes per side until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the avocado salsa by combining diced avocados, red onion, tomato, jalapeño, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- During the last 1-2 minutes of grilling, toast the whole wheat buns cut-side down on the grill.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each toasted bun and topping with avocado salsa. Garnish with cilantro if desired.
