  • 2 Eggs One for dough, one for egg wash
  • ¼ cup Butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour Adjust for dough consistency
Whipped Spice Butter Ingredients
  • ½ cup Butter Softened
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt A pinch is usually sufficient
  • Spices Cinnamon, Ginger, Allspice, Nutmeg, Cloves

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Activate yeast by combining warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Allow to sit until bubbly.
  2. Mix dough ingredients in a stand mixer and knead until soft and stretchy.
  3. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.
  4. Shape dough into 12 balls and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F, brush with egg wash, and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden.
  6. Prepare whipped butter by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, and spices until fluffy.
